Beginning Portrait Drawing
Animals in Oil

This class is perfect for animal lovers and art enthusiasts who want to capture the essence and personality of their furry friends in a beautiful and timeless piece of art. During this class, you will learn the fundamentals of oil painting, including color mixing, brush techniques, and composition, as we explore the unique challenges and techniques of painting pets. Beginning Portrait Painting

Throughout this course, you'll delve into the rich tradition of portrait painting, honing your skills in color mixing, brushwork, and composition. Figure Drawing Basics
July 31 - August 28, 2024
In this 5-week figure drawing class you will develop your skills in capturing the human form from the live model. With personalized guidance from an experienced instructor, you will learn the fundamental techniques of figure drawing and have the opportunity to practice through short gesture drawings and longer pose drawings. By the end of the course, you will have gained a foundation in figure drawing and improved your ability to capture the essence and details of the human form.
